Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your OnCourse Mentors account at any time. This page explains how to start the process, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app or on the website
Log in to your account, open Account Settings, and select Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately and completes within 7 days.

Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account at support@oncoursementors.com with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 7 days of your request.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email, phone number, password, and login credentials
- Your profile information (bio, job title, experience, photo, resume, ZIP code)
- Your mentor application and any verified courses or availability
- Your messages, conversations, and unread history
- Your ratings, reviews, and post-round survey responses
- Your device tokens and push-notification subscriptions
What we are required to keep
A small amount of data is retained after your account is deleted because we are legally required to keep it or because it is necessary to protect the other person you played with:
- Stripe transaction records. Payment, payout, and refund records are retained by our payment processor (Stripe) and by us for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes, as required by law.
- Location check-ins from the last 30 days. GPS check-in records from tee times in the 30 days prior to your deletion request are retained so that disputes, no-shows, and safety issues can still be reviewed. After 30 days, these records are removed. Your coordinates are never shown to other users.
Timeline
Deletion is completed within 7 days of your confirmed request. Retained records are removed on the schedule described above.
